Since 2018, I have used my journalism background to advocate for issues I care about, including working for organizations like New American Economy, the American Immigration Council, and Upwardly Global to highlight the contributions of immigrants in the United States and foster bipartisan support for immigration reform. I have interviewed CEOs, Dreamers, refugees, farmers, and politicians to craft compelling op-eds, profiles, and reports that combine data-driven economic arguments with empathetic storytelling. I have helped publish than 100 op-eds in both local and national publications, and I have developed relationships with opinion editors across the country.
